FREE Days for Indiana Teachers | Mandela: The Official Exhibition
Hoosier teachers, you're invited to visit Mandela: The Official Exhibition this summer, before you bring your class on a field trip to the exhibit this fall! Simply show your Indiana school teacher/staff ID badge at our Box Office for one free adult admission ticket on July 11 or July 23. Additional guest tickets are available at regular admission price.
Mandela: The Official Exhibition (recommended for ages 12+) takes guests on a personal journey through the life of the iconic freedom fighter, human rights icon, and world leader. The exhibit features previously unseen film and photos and the display of more than 150 historical artifacts and personal effects, combined with unique insights from family, friends, and others to reveal the deeper stories behind the headlines.
We love seeing Indiana teachers on school field trips with their students. Now is your time to explore the museum without your class. By visiting Mandela: The Official Exhibition this summer before your field trip, you can take time with each artifact, photo, film clip, and exhibit label.

The exhibition is open June 22, 2024–Jan. 20, 2025, and school field trip visits begin Sept. 3, 2024. An exhibit guide and other educational resources will be available this fall. How to attend
Show your Indiana school teacher/staff ID badge at our box office for one free adult admission ticket on July 11 or July 23!
You can also buy regular priced tickets for any other guests who are visiting with you. From 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 11th, admission is also reduced price for guests (First Thursday Night).
Extended hours on July 11 are 10 a.m.–8 p.m.
Regular hours on July 23 are 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
